Rishi Ayurvedics has been at Brindavan Society, Thane West for over four decades — long before Ayurveda became fashionable. Dr. Laxmidutta Shukla opened this clinic after a distinguished academic career at Banaras Hindu University (BAMS Gold Medallist, 1972; MD Ayurveda, 1976) and 31 years of teaching at Smt. KGMP Ayurvedic Medical College, Mumbai, where he retired as Principal in 2007.

In 2025, the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India designated Dr. Shukla as Rashtriya Guru 2025 at a ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi — one of the highest national honours in Ayurveda. He is also a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from Mumbai Vaidya Sabha, BHU (Kashi Kaya Sangamam 2026), and multiple national Ayurvedic bodies.

The consultation begins with Nadi Pariksha — classical pulse diagnosis. Dr. Shukla places three fingers on your wrist and reads your body's current state: the dominant dosha, the strength of Agni, and the nature of the imbalance. This alone reveals information about your condition that no blood test can.

Your Health History

Dr. Shukla will ask about your primary complaint, how long you've had it, what treatments you've tried, your diet, sleep, and daily routine. He listens carefully — a first consultation typically lasts 20–30 minutes.

Personalised Diagnosis

Your condition will be explained in terms of both Ayurvedic understanding (which dosha is involved, what the root cause is) and its modern clinical context. Dr. Shukla has decades of experience integrating classical Ayurvedic diagnosis with modern medical knowledge.
